Carey Steen is a graduate student at ACU Online. Her counseling philosophy is deeply rooted in the understanding that our attachments in early childhood influence our emotional health and overall well-being throughout life. In therapy, her primary goal is to provide a nurturing and empathic environment where clients can explore their attachment history and learn the necessary skills to create positive change. She also uses evidence-based practices and a client-centered approach to help clients develop a deeper understanding of their attachment styles and emotional responses.
